How to Report Violations

To report a violation, use the online Air Quality Violation Report Form or call 602-506-6010. The phone line is available Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with voice mail available after business hours and on weekends. If unable to contact, please call the fire department non-emergency line at 602-495-5555.

Recreation (camp) fires during the winter months are permitted if burning is allowed in Maricopa County when air quality restrictions are not in place.

Remember, it is always best practice to communicate with your neighbors when having a recreation fire, so they do not report a call to your local fire station.

THANK YOU AND STAY SAFE!

The Buckeye Valley Fire District is concerned about fire safety in our community related to open burning. The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (AZDEQ) has developed a permit process for all open burning. In an effort to make the applications more readily available, Buckeye Valley Fire District has obtained copies to make available to the public. The District cannot issue permits, but we are able to distribute application forms for the convenience of our residents. You can pick up an Open Burning Application at our Administrative Offices at:

6213 S. Miller Rd. Ste 112
Buckeye, AZ 85326
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (except holidays)
